Cocomamas Juices & Smoothies

1C Staniland Grove, Elsternwick 3185

Don’t fret if you can’t pronounce acai - Cocomamas has you covered with over 10 flavours of smoothie bowl to choose from. No additional liquid is added to their concoctions, so expect a consistency like ice-cream when visiting this busy takeaway joint for a smoothie bowl. The cherry ripe bowl is a winner, layered with sugar free chocolate sauce and activated chocolate buckwheat granola. If dietary requirements are a concern, all their products are gluten free, vegan and kosher approved.

Soul Press

624 Hampton Street, Brighton 3186

With multiple locations across Melbourne, Soul Press has your back when you’re in need of a cool down or sweet treat. Specialising in variations of acai, Soul Press also offers delicious berry-free combos such as the Snickers Bowls and the Matcha Bowl. Better yet, pick one up from Brighton and head down to the beach to enjoy in front of the ocean.

Combi

1/140 Ormond Road, Elwood 3184

What once was a beachside business operating out of a combi van is now a buzzing cafe tucked away on Ormond Road Elwood, famed for their great coffee and filling smoothies. The menu doesn’t stop there though, with a dragon fruit smoothie bowl that is almost too pretty to eat! Dragon fruit (otherwise known as pitaya) is blended with mango, banana and coconut water and topped with fresh seasonal fruit and caramelised buckinis - a must-try.

Holy Bowly Superfood Bar

Next time you’re in Hampton, pop into Holy Bowly to try their signature ‘Fully Loaded Acai Bowl’. Expect a regular base of acai, banana, blueberries and coconut water but loaded with plenty of toppings from cocoa nibs to a superfood crunch. If you are a peanut butter lover, be sure to ask for a scoop on top.

Acai Brothers Superfood Bar

No one does acai bowls like Acai Brothers. Do some menu research before heading to one of their many locations, as you’ll be spoilt for choice with flavours ranging from lemon to Jaffa infused acai.
