Hello, Halloween! It’s almost time to revisit your inner kid with thrills, dress-ups and lollies – and this year, Bayside is hosting some of the eeriest events we’ve seen yet. Monday October 31st is Melbourne Cup eve, too, so you can stay up until well past the witching hour to enjoy the Southside’s best parties, festivals, cruises and fun park events.

A Night at Ripping Lea

Kick off your spookiest weekend of the year with a night at Elsternwick’s Rippon Lea Estate, a towering manor built in 1868. Eerie house tours, food trucks in the gardens and a bar onsite will transform the National Trust favourite into a Halloween Party – so don’t forget to dress up! Spooktober Halloween Festival

Two haunted houses. A food truck village. Roaming entertainment. Games and amusements – Spooktober is Melbourne’s ‘most immersive haunt experience’ this Halloween! There’ll be a safe Trick or Treat Trail for the youngsters sponsored by Wizz Fizz, free for all kids on the grounds. Halloween Ghost Cruise

An immersive, narrative-based adventure cruise, Captain Jeff will require your services when he discovers the remains of a shipwreck – which is ‘anything but deserted.’ In fact, it’s far from it! With two levels of House music and RnB DJs, there will be plenty of ghosts and zombies getting down to deadly beats and enjoying creepy cocktails on the deck.
