It’s that time of year again! You guessed it – Christmas is fast approaching. What better way to get into the jolly old swing of it than to enjoy a snag or two at the annual Elwood Festival, supported by Chisholm and Gamon?
Held on Sunday 1st December, this fun filled day is sure to bring the community together. With a clever variety of activities to keep the kids entertained and an appearance from Father Christmas on the cards, this year’s festival is sure to be a ripper! Make sure you highlight this event in your calendar – it features a gaggle of treats to make even the grinchiest member of your family enthusiastic.
C&G Sausage Sizzle & Balloon Fiesta
You will certainly want to arrive with an appetite as local traders will have a variety of food stalls vending drool-inducing fare - plus the annual C&G sausage sizzle. See the C&G team frying snags and onions with panache – and giving away jolly orange balloons to big and little kids alike.

If last year’s festival is anything to go by, you can look forward to jumping castles, tea-cup rides and the ubiquitous lolly giveaways. Local schools will be putting on an array of performances, there will be roving performers and professional musicians making the atmosphere extra-festive.
