The C&G Fitness Challenge

Local Community

Join Chisholm & Gamon in their commitment to make March and April the fittest months of the year! The team at C&G are spending the next eight weeks focusing on fitness with the goal to lose weight, build strength and improve general wellness. So why not join us and set yourself, your family or your workplace a fitness challenge too? There are plenty of charity events around Melbourne that combine fitness and fundraising – and what better reason to get off your chair and get moving?

C&G invite you to join them in making the next eight weeks fitness focused. Here are some suggestions to get you started in March:

Walk in Her Shoes: 16 – 22 March

Walking long distances for food, water and healthcare is a reality for many women in developing countries, and the time spent walking leaves little time for education or work. Walk in Her Shoes is CARE Australia’s biggest fundraising event, and invites people to walk 25, 50 or 100 kilometres from 16 – 22 March to raise funds for women and girls living in poverty. So go on, walk in her shoes this month and challenge yourself! To find out more and to register, click here.

Relay for Life in Bayside: 28 – 29 March

The city of Hampton will soon be awash with enthusiastic relay teams ready to take on the night! Relay for Life raises vital funds for the Cancer Council of Australia. Some people join to honour friends or family members affected by cancer; others do it to show the strength they have in surviving cancer. Whatever your reason to join the relay, it promises to be a weekend of fitness and fun. Participants are challenged to stay on the relay track overnight if they can! So why not challenge yourself and your team and sign up today? To find out more and to register, click here.

Royal Walk and Fun Run: 29 March

Help raise funds for The Royal Melbourne Hospital this month and get fit doing it! Participants can choose between the 4.5km and 9km run, and funds raised can be put into the hospital area of your choice – ICU, mental health, music therapy; whatever area you feel most strongly about. You can create a team, join an existing one, or come with your family and four-legged-friends! To find out more and to register, click here.
