Local Community

It’s time to start sleeping with the light on, Bayside. Halloween is upon us. Get ready to approach the mailbox with caution, and have spooky ghoulies jump out at you from every corner! Here’s C&G’s guide to the best Halloween celebrations in and around Bayside.

As our signature colour is orange, the pumpkin has long been considered our spirit vegetable. It’s no secret that we at C&G are suckers for all things Halloween. We might be some way behind the US in our love for the holiday, but we still know how to throw a scarily good party. Here’s our round up of the best of Bayside:

Luna Dark at Luna Park, St Kilda

For the entire weekend – yes, three whole days – Luna Park is hosting the best Halloween party on the southside. Luna Dark. With unlimited ride tickets available to those in costume, American Horror Story Freakshow (Saturday only), a vampire blood bank, autopsy alley and heaps more to make you scream, it’s the place to be this weekend for thrill seekers.

Fright Night at Metropol Bar, St Kilda

If crazy costumes and unlimited drinks are your thing, this is the party for you. From 8pm-1am, the best music and Halloween party tricks and treats will takeover the Metropol bar. Enter if you dare – oh, and dressing up is mandatory.

Twisted History Ghost Tours – CBD

If you’re a lover of the scare factor but don’t fancy a party, these walking tours could get your heart beating faster than the ghost that’ll brush past you in the alley. Touring through Chinatown and exploring the dark side of Victoria’s history, these aren’t for the faint hearted!

Halloween Spooktacular Scarefest – Wonderland Fun Park
