C&G’s Guide to Bark in the Park’s Walk for Wildlife

Tips & Advice

Do you and your four-legged friend enjoy your morning walks? You can now do it while supporting a good cause by joining Bark in the Park for their Walk for Wildlife fundraiser! This exciting event will be held at 9:00am on the 18th and 25th of January starting at the Grebe Picnic Area at Albert Park Lake. C&G’s latest blog will give you a ‘ruff’ idea of what to expect at this charitable and social gathering of dog lovers. We hope to see you there!

You can join other dog lovers for a social stroll along the picturesque Albert Park Lake, while supporting Wildlife Victoria’s bushfire appeal with a $30 donation. We have all heard of the devastating effects of the recent fires, bringing many of our native flora and fauna towards endangerment and extinction. So many organisations, particularly Wildlife Victoria, are working hard to provide relief in the affected areas. Your donation will contribute towards assisting wildlife shelters and carers in rescuing and treating injured animals. The funds will also be dedicated to restoring destroyed areas so they can continue their meaningful work in the future.

Despite these unfortunate circumstances, Bark in the Park will ensure all humans and dogs have an enjoyable time. The friendly team will be available to answer any dog-related questions as well, such as quelling unwanted behaviours or training tips! More details about the event can be found here.

Can’t make it but wondering how else you can help? The official Facebook fundraiser page can be found here if you wish to make a donation. You are also welcome to donate directly to Wildlife Victoria as well!
