5 Reasons why Black Rock is the New Black

Local Community

If you’re looking to relocate to a beautiful bayside suburb where to you can settle down in an established, friendly community whilst enjoying an exciting cultural lifestyle, then have we got the place for you. C&G has put together a few of the many reasons why Black Rock is oh so hot right now.

Black Rock was named after Black Rock House, the grand residence of Charles Ebden built in 1856. It is considered an area of high demand, with an outstanding 1,297 visits per property by potential renters and buyers on realestate.com.au. A three bedroom home will cost on average $1,475,000 to buy and $650 per week to rent. Black Rock is very popular with older couples and families – these two ‘settled’ groups make up approximately 20.2% of the population. It has its fair share of famous locals too –notably, cricketer Shane Warne who attended Black Rock primary school in the 1970’s!
