C&G’s Guide to Dine with Champions
Dine With Champions is a special event coming to St Kilda on Thursday 28 February 2019. Presented by The Sacred Heart Mission, Dine With Champions is a whole evening of enjoyment focused on raising money for the Kick Start Wellbeing and Activities Program. Join with some of Australia’s top sporting legends and hall of famers in raising funds for a cause that helps disadvantaged members of our community to participate in specialised health, wellbeing and sporting programs. The Cause
Dine With Champions aims to raise $65,000 for Sacred Heart Mission’s Kick Start Wellbeing and Activities Program. For many years, the Mission have delivered free sports and recreation opportunities for those in need but have identified a real need to enhance the scope of the program to assist more people. Offering members individualised support and carefully curated activities, the program addresses physical, mental health and drug and alcohol related issues while building positive experiences around diet, sport and good health.
The Venue
Participants will enjoy a delicious dinner at the Dining Room at Cricket Victoria, a stunning venue at the CitiPower Centre at Junction Oval. Think fine food and wine in an elegant setting overlooking the St Kilda Cricket Club – it will be hard to remain seated without running to the cricket oval for quick bat and bowl!
The Entertainment
Leading sports broadcaster, Tiffany Cherry will be welcoming sporting greats including Olympic medallists, Sports Hall of Famers and AFL stars, chatting to them about their triumphs and tribulations. After dinner, there will be a silent auction and raffle, giving guests the opportunity to add rare sporting memorabilia to their collections and secure and once-in-a-lifetime sporting and leisure experiences.
