When Des Dowling was a boy, heroes helped him through the trials and tribulations of boyhood and adolescence.

Now approaching middle age, with the world in turmoil and life more complicated than ever, he’s looking for new heroes.

For more than a decade Des Dowling has been one of Australia’s top comedians, headlining at clubs around the country and performing in Canada and the UK.

He starred in ABC TV’s hit series Agony Uncles and the sold out Melbourne International Comedy Festival show Not The Good Scissors.
