Elwood Testimonial

Testimonials

Hi Jon,

Yes we are extremely pleased that we have sold Dickens Street, Elwood, but very sad that our regular chats are going to cease.

Your professionalism, honesty, attention to detail, guidance and friendliness has been so very welcoming.

As you know we chose Chisholm & Gamon to sell Elwood because of one person - Christine Nicholson. Christine worked so very hard to get our difficult tenant on side even after we were unable to sell at the auction, however, the tenant just proved too hard to deal with, so Mark and I made the difficult decision to withdraw our apartment from sale until our tenant vacated the premises. At that time Christine left for Tasmania, so we waited with trepidation to see if you would be able to fill Christine's shoes - we needn't have worried.

After our tenant left, we made the decision to revamp our apartment to give it the "wow" factor before putting it back again on the market. Your assistance from selecting carpet to sourcing the necessary trades and ensuring that the work was done on time was extremely appreciated.  And then the final piece in the jigsaw was having our apartment professionally dressed - organised again through yourself. We didn't have to do anything - just sit by the phone and wait for a report on how it was all tracking.

You provided us with a timeline and activity schedule leading up to the auction date and excellent advice on utilising premium internet advertising to promote our apartment to the correct market.

With the advertising strategy and "wow" apartment, you believed that we had done everything right and yes it showed. From the minute we put the apartment up for sale, the interested parties flowed through - section 32s aplenty and a number of second visits. Your strategy in advising first home buyers that we were open to offers prior to auction was just perfect as we have now sold our apartment, prior to auction.

During the whole process, you kept us updated without being overbearing.

We couldn't recommend your services highly enough to anyone interested in the property market, and will have no qualms in mentioning your name to friends. We wish you all the very very best for the future Jon and hope that one day our paths will cross again.
