Bayside Coastal Trail
One the longest trail journeys of Bayside, this trek stretches 17km from Beaumaris to Brighton. While passing through Sandringham, Hampton and Black Rock, enjoy the fresh sea breeze, spectacular views of the bay and don’t forget to stop at one of the many local cafes you’ll find along the way.
Bayside Cycling Trail
Beginning at the historic Timeball Tower, cycle along the shore of Port Phillip Bay with this 18km cycle adventure. This trail continues through Westgate Park, Port Melbourne, Albert Park, St Kilda and finishing on Bay Street – perfect for a nutritious brekkie or smoothie! For those biking extremists, the trail continues another 27 kilometres along to coast to Carrum.
Black Rock House Trail
Located at Beaumaris, the Black Rock House trail is 5 km long with a walking time of around 80 minutes. The trail features views of Black Rock House, a heritage-listed manor with a castle-style fortress wall – worthy of a few Instagram snaps. The trek has moderate steep undulations, so forget about leg-day at the gym – you won’t need it!
Point Ormond
This 5km trail from Elwood to Brighton is for walkers looking for a trek with spectacular Bayside views. Long stretches of sand will lead to a large playground with exercise equipment, a dog-off-lead area and the iconic Brighton beach boxes – the best of Bayside on a single journey!
