The Royal Exhibition Building will be hosting the Big Design Market from 6th to 8th December, celebrating the best in Australian independent design. True to its name, there are over 260 exhibitors selling ceramics, jewellery, clothing, tech accessories, kids products and more. The organisers amongst us will definitely achieve all their Christmas shopping in one hit! In this C&G blog we guide you through some notable designer stalls, activities and delicious eats, so no one misses out!

Exhibitors

Arcadia Scott Ceramics

Reusable coffee and travel cups with a creative and natural touch. They are made by self-taught potter Arcadia Scott from Brunswick, who works with different clays and glazes.

BeetBox

Embrace the lunchbox! Beetboxes come in adorable colour combinations and are designed right here in Melbourne. They focus on preventing waste by offering an alternative to disposable food packaging.

The best local eateries will be in full force with delicious offerings. Some notable names include traditional Italian cuisine from 400 Gradi, fantastic Yarra Valley wine from Innocent Bystander, ST. ALi coffee for topping up shopping energy, burgers from Beatbox Kitchen and macarons from LuxBite when you’re ready for dessert.

Activities
