Dine with Heart 2024: An event close to the C & G Heart
As the autumn leaves fall gently in Melbourne’s bayside, a heartwarming tradition unfolds—the Sacred Heart Mission’s Dine with Heart event. For a remarkable decade, this culinary celebration has graced the iconic Palais Theatre, bringing together top chefs, generous sponsors, and compassionate hearts. As a proud sponsor and supporter of this event from it’s inception, this week we savor the flavors, raise our glasses, and dive into the magic of this extraordinary evening.
At the heart of this endeavor lies the St Kilda Dining Hall, where more than nourishment is served. It’s a sanctuary—a place where individuals experiencing homelessness find safety, belonging, and hope. Beyond the plate, Sacred Heart Mission provides support, empowering people to break free from the cycle of homelessness.
Once again, this year's Dine with Heart Event showcases some of Melbourne’s most talented chefs collaborating in a culinary symphony. These maestros transform their core ingredients into exquisite three-course meals and their passion and creativity infuse each dish with love and purpose.
Our very own, Torsten Kasper and Sam Gamon will again help out on the night, taking center stage as auctioneers. With much gusto, and a little cheekiness, each year they encourage diners to dig deep during the rowdy auction. From exclusive experiences to unique artworks, every bid contributes to the cause.
As the Palais Theatre lights up, and as laughter and clinking glasses fill the air, we are proud to be continuing to play a small part in a decade of this amazing fundraising event. Dine with Heart isn’t just about fine dining; it’s about igniting positive change—one meal, one bid, one heart at a time.
